MEC Lehari assures leaner transport in Bokfontein
The MEC for the Department of Community Safety and Transport Management Sello Lehari addressed the concerns of the Bokfontein community outside Brits in Madibeng Municipality early on Friday morning. The community complaints stem from lack of regular learner transport. According to the local Councillor, Thabo Mokwena, the learners have lost cumulatively three weeks of learning due to challenges of learner transport. “The Thari Transport services will on Monday henceforth be transporting the learners," promised MEC Lehari. The department will meanwhile complement the staff component dealing with learner transport. Addressing the community at the local hall, MEC Lehari expressed gratitude that they chose to engage the department to resolve the challenge amicably.
